Campground Policies
Experience Lancelin Holiday Park is Lancelin’s best-located caravan park with cabins, caravan sites, and camping north of Perth, including pet-friendly accommodation options.
At our caravan park, we want to ensure that every guest has a safe and enjoyable experience. To achieve this, we have put in place various policies that we expect all guests to abide by.
We hope that these policies will help ensure a safe and enjoyable stay for all our guests. Of course, if you do have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to speak to our friendly staff.
Cabin Bookings
There are strictly NO pets permitted in the cabins or on balconies.
BOND REQUIRED AT CHECK-IN: A bond will be charged upon arrival and held until the cabin has been inspected after check-out. This bond covers any costs for extra cleaning or damages that might occur, whether incidental or accidental. Cleaning and maintenance services are charged at $50.00 per hour.
For the Two Bedroom Cabins and the Three Bedroom Cabins, the bond is $250. For the Studio Cabins, the bond is $100. Should there be no issues, the bond will be refunded to the card used for payment.
Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be in writing to info@lancelincaravanpark.com.au.
During Peak Periods
Peak Periods include School Holidays, Long Weekends, Public Holidays, and Special Events.
SITE Bookings
A refund, less a $50 booking fee, will be available if you cancel outside 30 days of your arrival. Or you can choose a full credit.
If you cancel within 29 – 14 days of your arrival, 50% of all monies paid will be forfeited, and the balance refunded.
If you cancel less than 14 days of your arrival, 100% of all monies paid will be forfeited.
CABIN Bookings

Outside Peak Periods
SITE Bookings
A refund less a $20 booking fee will be available if you cancel outside 48 hours of your arrival. Or you can choose a full credit that is valid for 12 months with ELHP.
If you cancel less than 48 hours of your arrival, 100% of all monies paid will be forfeited.
CABIN Bookings
A refund less a $50 booking fee will be available if you cancel outside 7 days of your arrival. Or you can choose a full credit that is valid for 12 months with ELHP.
If you cancel less than 7 days of your arrival, 100% of all monies paid will be forfeited.
Check In / Check Out
Please report to reception to check-in for your stay. Check-in time is after 12:00 pm for sites & after 2:00 pm for cabins.
If arriving beyond 6:00 pm, please call Reception on 08 9655 1056 to discuss late check-in arrangements.
Check-out time is 10 am for both sites & cabins. A late check-out may be considered for sites, only if there is availability to do so.
No Refunds are given if you cancel or reduce your stay at/after check-in or if you are asked to leave the Park due to noncompliance to the Park rules.
Fires
Fires including charcoal BBQs are NOT permitted within the park at any time of the year.
Generators
Generators are NOT permitted within the park, please do not bring or use them on-site.
Noise Curfew
All guests have a right to quiet enjoyment, regardless of the time of day. Quiet time is from 10 pm, however disruptive, aggressive, or rowdy behaviour is not tolerated at any time.
Parent Supervision
Children are our special guests, however, Experience Lancelin Holiday Park has no responsibility for the behaviour of children whilst they are on site.
Parents are responsible for children at all times ensuring they are abiding by all the park rules and for any damage caused to any party.
Should children wish to bring bikes, scooters (not electric), skateboards, and any other equipment to the park, parents are totally responsible for any damages children may cause to any party. Equipment used after dark is prohibited, especially bikes and scooters.
All equipment must be ridden responsibly and comply with the 8km speed limit and use of the shared roadway.
ELECTRIC SCOOTERS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO BE RIDDEN IN THE PARK.
Children seen using equipment in an unsafe manner will be instructed to stop by our staff. Children must not ride through or around sites, be aware of road rules, must wear a protective helmet, and appropriate footwear to stay safe. Any low-to-the-ground equipment requires a safety flag to warn traffic of the child’s whereabouts.
PLEASE – NO CHALK WRITING/DRAWING ON THE PARK, ROADS, AND EQUIPMENT.
Parking
Strictly one car per site. If additional parking is required, please contact Reception for options. Boats, trailers & second cars are to be parked in the visitor’s bays. Visitor cars need to be parked outside of the Caravan Park.
Pets Policy
Pets are most welcome at Experience Lancelin Holiday Park on Caravan and Camping Sites, only, and at the discretion of Management.
Pets are not permitted in any of our accommodations (an automatic deduction of $250 from the Credit Card will occur if pets are noted to be present in accommodation). We have a limited number of space available for pets so we recommend booking in early to avoid disappointment. See more information or get started on our pet policy and registration form.
Terms and Conditions
- PETS are not permitted in any of the PET Free Zones.
- PETS must be kept on short leads and are to be supervised at all times.
- DOGS are not to be left on site alone and must not continuously BARK.
- GUEST must bag and bin excrement left by PET, immediately.
- GUEST is responsible for any personal injury or damage/s caused by their PET and pay for any claim of compensation related to their PET’S activities.
- Payment of a Pet Bond may be requested and may be forfeited for failure to comply with our Pet Policy or instructions issued by Management
Recreation Room
Open daily between 8:00am – 6:00pm and made available for Park Guests only.
Recycling – Containers For Change
Please dispose of suitable containers in wire bins located throughout the Park. Funds raised are donated to a local charity. For more info check out www.containersforchange.com.au.
Rubbish
Please collect your rubbish in bags and place them in the rubbish bins provided. Fish scraps must be wrapped and bagged before being disposed of in bins.
Security
Guests are responsible for their own belongings. Please ensure all valuables are kept out of sight and are safe and secure. Management cannot accept responsibility for theft of personal possessions.
Speed Limit
Strictly 8km. Roads are shared with pedestrians, bikes & cars. Electric scooters are NOT permitted within the Park.
Swimming Pool & Spa
We love our heated pool and spa and hope you do too! To ensure the safety and enjoyment of this facility for all guests, the following rules apply.
- All children MUST be supervised by a parent/guardian at all times.
- All children MUST wear the provided wristband (replacements available from Reception).
- Parents are totally responsible for any damages children may cause to any party.
- Please, NO glassware, food, or pets inside the pool area.
- Aqua nappies MUST be worn by babies/toddlers. Nappies are available for purchase from Reception.
During certain times of the year, ALL guests will be required to wear the wristbands provided upon check-in, to gain access to the Pool Area. Should you require a replacement, these are available from Reception.

Visitors
Visitors MUST report to Reception before entering the Caravan Park & vacate by 10:00pm. Park facilities are for the exclusive use of paying customers only. Visitor cars need to be parked outside of the Caravan Park. If your visitors wish to stay overnight, this must be arranged prior to 6pm directly with Reception as additional costs apply.
